We are so excited about our first Christmas collaboration launch – our second year with Rhythm & Rhyme! Last years Rhythm and Rhyme Christmas Collab marked the start of Christmas for us, creating a gorgeous memory of little ones dancing, playing with Christmas props and causing chaos – it was brilliant, we cannot wait to do it again!!

We’ll be joining Rhythm & Rhyme’s Laura for a Christmassy-themed session with a true Walking Mums twist, the session will be designed to include all little ones, from babies right up to walkers. As always with Walking Mums, wherever possible – everyone is welcome!

Laura will be joining us at one of our favourite venues, Perk Partner The Moss Trooper, Timperley ✨ opening especially for us – for a festive session filled with music, instruments, dancing and plenty of fun!

Followed by relaxed Coffees and Pastries 💫

What is Rhythm & Rhyme?

If you’ve never experienced Rhythm & Rhyme, it’s an award-winning, multi-sensory music and movement class for babies and young children (typically from birth up to around age 4). Sessions are designed to support early development through rhythm, song and sensory play – all while giving parents a chance to join in and connect.

Each class includes:
🎶 Live music and singing — nursery rhymes, rhythm games and themed songs ✨
💃 Movement and dancing to help build coordination, balance and confidence
🧸 Props and sensory play with instruments, scarves, ribbons, lights and bubbles
😊 Early learning through music and Makaton sign language, encouraging listening, communication and social skills
🫶 Parent participation, making it a fun, bonding experience for you and your little one

They offer morning and afternoon classes, with two age groups – one for pre-walking babies and one for walking & over (younger siblings welcome). Our session will be a mix up for all ages ✨

What to Expect

You’ll be joining a group of Walking Mums, so expect more fun, more interaction and a lovely community vibe ❤️.

Logistics
We’ll meet at 10am, for the session which will begin just after. Brunch will follow at 11am and end around 12pm.

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (fast growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and Salford who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 

We also run regular social meet ups like yoga, run club, craft nights as well as the odd personal growth events – we’re Mums supporting Mums to be the best we can be
