 Valentine’s Sensory Pop-Up with Baby Sparks Cheshire East in Wilmslow 

We’re excited to be collaborating with Baby Sparks Cheshire East for a special Valentine’s themed sensory pop-up class, welcoming babies and toddlers from newborn to walking age.

As this is a Walking Mums special the session will be open to a mixed-age group (0 – walking toddlers), giving mums a chance to experience the beautiful, developmentally focused style of Baby Sparks classes together.

Expect heart-themed sensory play, music, movement and lots of bonding moments in a relaxed, supportive environment.

 What happens in this special Walking Mums X Baby Sparks Valentine’s session?

As always with Walking Mums the session will involve a walk, meeting at the entrance to Hickory’s at 12:15pm for a few loops of Lindow Common (it’s over the road :)) then we’ll head to Hickory’s for 1:15pm where we can get settled in their brilliant Sports Lounge – which we’re taking over for the session starting at 1:30pm and lasting around 45 minutes.

The session will include activities inspired by three Baby Sparks age & stage classes, with adaptations so every child can take part at their own level:

Little Sparks (newborn – 6 months)

Gentle sensory exploration using textures, sounds and visual stimulation to support early brain development, sensory processing and bonding.

Spark Shakers (sitting – crawling)

Engaging sensory play with music, lights and movement to encourage curiosity, fine motor skills, cause & effect learning and growing independence.

Spark Movers (walking toddlers)

Purposeful movement, music and play to support balance, coordination, confidence and early social skills perfect for busy little explorers.

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (fast growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and Salford ✨ who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 💪

We also run regular social meet ups like yoga, run club, craft nights as well as the odd personal growth events – we’re Mums supporting Mums to be the best we can be ⭐️
