**Beeston Castle Walk** Cancelled

Huge apologies but due to illness this walk won’t go ahead today, of course you can still make your way there it just won’t be led ❤️

When we saw this amazing offer for FREE Entry to English Heritage sites, we had to plan this walk! We don’t have many English Heritage buildings in our region but 🔗Beeston Castle is a fab one and we’re planning on a weekend so more children can join us – what child doesn’t love a castle! ❤️

The walk up to the Castle is steep, I’d class it as a hike but a nice short challenge for little legs I’d say it’s around 1.5 miles up and down and it says allow 30 – 60 mins to reach the top on the website. There is a traditional Round house and lovely woods to explore on the way up to the Castle and when the reach the top the views are fab if it’s a clear day.

🚗 Parking is over the road from the Castle 👉 Chapel Lane, Beeston, Cheshire, CW6 9TX, it’s £3 for non English Heritage Members

🧺 There is a ‘Kiosk’ on site but bring a bit of a picnic just in case.
