Bellefields Forest School: Bonfire, S’mores & Autumn Adventures 🍂🔥

As always it is Walking Mums mission to help Mums make magical moments with our little people – whilst also keeping them entertained and happy, with as much outdoor movement included as possible 🥰

We are so excited to be one of the first to experience the brand new Bellefields Neighbourwood Forest School Parties for this brilliant event celebrating all things Bonfire Night 2026 – of course with a fire 🔥 on a site right next to our wonderful Perk Partners 🔗 Bellefields Brew in Appleton.

Join us for a special Bonfire-themed Forest School adventure at Bellefields, designed for little ones to explore, create and play together in the woodland.

The session will be packed with hands-on Bonfire Night activities, from exploring the woods and searching for woodland animals to getting creative with natural materials, making firework-inspired creations and building a pretend bonfire.

There’ll be plenty of opportunities for little ones to get messy, use their imaginations and explore the woodland, with stories, sounds and activities bringing the Bonfire Night theme to life. 🍂✨

And to finish, everyone will gather around the real campfire for marshmallows. 🔥❤️

A gorgeous autumn experience for little ones — and a lovely opportunity for Mums to get outdoors and enjoy it together too.

The event will run 12-2pm in the brand new woodland area (images not yet available – we will be amongst the first to visit! 💫) and the shelter at Bellefields will be available before and afterwards if we want to use for picnics. Details as to whether the coffee stand will be open will be confirmed in advance.

Ticket includes 1 Adult and 1 Child with Fireside treats for all, please email hello@walkingmums.com if you require any extra children’s spaces.

⚠️ Please keep children in sight throughout the event, you remain responsible for your child throughout the session.

 🅿️ There is Free Parking on the roadside at Bellefields, when following satnat personally I would head for Fox Covert Cemetery, Red Ln, Appleton, Warrington WA4 5LA first, then navigate to Bellefields Brew Firs Lane, Appleton, WA4 5LE from there (2 mins away) the alternate route past Walton Gardens is fine but includes more dirt track.

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (ever growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and now Salford  who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 

We also run regular social meet ups like yoga, run club, craft nights as well as the odd personal growth events – we’re Mums supporting Mums to be the best we can be

All you need to do to attend a walk is register and show up. We have a whatsapp group to join for last minute walk communication  here 

We can’t promise sunshine  or guarantee you’ll have the best time ever (although we really hope you do! ), and each mum remains responsible for her own safety and the supervision of her children throughout the walk / event, see details of our disclaimer here Please ensure you have sight of your children at all times

Joining fees are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, your ticket may be gifted to another person but cannot be moved or transferred to another event.
