Carrier and (older) Childrens Hike – Rivington Pike

It’s been a while since we attempted a Carrier Hike so here we go..! 🙂 This is our first visit to Rivington Pike, the plan is a hike to the top starting from Rivington Hall Barn Car Park, Bolton BL6 7SD. There is parking all the way up the road, if we plan to meet by the entrance to The Hall (pretty sure there is a United Utilities sign) The route is 3.5 miles in total and of moderate difficulty (steep steps at the end but otherwise a nice steady, climb)

This is a Mum and baby carrier and competent children hike, the aim will be for the group to stay together. If you have smaller children you are absolutely welcome to start with us but we will plan to move at a pace that will challenge the Mum hikers and older Children (probably school aged +), please don’t join and be disappointed 🥰 There will be plenty of walks for younger children throughout the holidays 💪
