Old Pale Hill Delamere – Weekend Hike

Description

This is the first time we are heading to Delamere to complete the Old Pale Hill circular, one of the most beautiful woodland walks in the north west!

This is 5 mile challenge with a bit of a hill, the track is brilliant for 95% of the way (it’s almost pram friendly) with a small section of muddy, slightly overgrown trail which wouldn’t be passable with a pram.

There will be a stop on route at the Forest Cafe, for drinks and snacks (10% off for Walking Mums Supporter Members! ❤️) where there is also a great play area – this is towards the end of the walk, meaning Families could stay there longer and complete the remaining section back to the cars in their own time or with the group.

Having tested this route it doesn’t feel as long as it is, as there is so much to look at and the view point at the top of Old Pale Hill is fantastic! A great family weekend challenge!

We meet at the Barnsbridge Car Park, which has FREE PARKING! 🙌 Expect it to be busy and use safe roadside parking if needed (we’ve always been able to get space here).
