We are so excited to announce this new event – we’re heading back to the brilliant Fentons Farm for an Easter Take Over 🐑🌼 Fentons are opening especially for us, for an exclusive Walking Mums afternoon of animals, fresh air, play and memory-making.
We’ll get to meet Lambs and other Farm animals as well as some very special visitors – as John ‘The Owl Man’ brings some of his beautiful birds to meet us!! 🦉
There will be talks on Lambs and Owls as well as plenty of opportunities for Q&A, we’ll also be joined by our photography partner 🔗Abbi Stanworth who’ll be capturing gorgeous moments for us on 📸
Fentons Farm is a working, family-run farm in Rostherne, all about keeping things simple, honest and full of heart.
This isn’t a shiny play farm – it’s the real thing. A place where animals are loved, children are welcomed, and little ones can get close to nature without the crowds or pressure. And we’d love you to join us for this special Easter gathering.
🐣 Animals you’ll meet include:
Donkeys
Goats
Sheep
Emu
Rabbits, guinea pigs & fish
Plus a very proud peacock who may decide to make an appearance…
🌷 There’s more than animals…
Fentons has a mix of indoor and outdoor play equipment — all donated, well-loved and perfect for little legs who need a run around after meeting the animals.
There will be children’s picnic boxes, sandwiches and toasties, self-serve hot drinks (no flat whites – but only £1.50!) and gorgeous homemade cakes 🍰
The Fentons Farm Shop will also be open (with limited stock as they’re not usually open midweek) perfect for picking up the most amazing eggs, meat and seasonal farm produce to take home.
Please ensure only food and drink purchased from Fentons is consumed on the premises.
