End of Summer Picnic Party at Groobarbs!

We are so excited to launch our End of Summer Picnic Party 🥳

A chance to come together in a beautiful place, meet other Mums and little ones, enjoy brilliant entertainment and celebrate the end of an amazing Summer ❤️ (and as so often happens, for some of us, the end of maternity leave too 🥺)

These events are designed to work for Mums wit children of varying ages (0-7yrs), helping fill those long Summer days with simple, special memories made together 💫

This year we’re taking over the incredible Groobarbs Field Kitchen Garden for the afternoon. If you’ve never visited before, think countryside wedding venue level gorgeousness ✨

Groobarbs will be open exclusively for Walking Mums, with the plan being to enjoy the gardens and outdoor space — but with a beautiful indoor picnic option too if the weather has other ideas ☔️

Joining us are some of our favourite local partners. Following last year’s amazing End of Summer Picnic Party, Emma from Popcats Warrington is back again to bring the party 🎶

We’re also so excited to welcome, for the first time, long-time friend of Walking Mums, Therese from TinyTalk Warrington ❤️

Both will run two sessions each:
👶 Pre-walkers
🚶 Walkers

The idea is that little ones can enjoy one session, then switch to the other 🥰

We’ll also be joined by the brilliant team from Bright Horizons, who will be creating a sensory and exploration area for little ones to enjoy, with Early Years experts on hand throughout the afternoon for any questions or chats Mums may have.

Bring your own picnic to enjoy around the gardens 🌿 We’ll have a number of picnic blankets available to borrow, but please do feel free to bring your own too (we won’t have enough).

Each ticket includes:
☕️ One drink per adult
🧁 One sweet treat per adult
🥤 Water/squash for children

One ticket is valid for 1 Adult and 1 Child.

Additional child tickets are available for £3. If you’d like to bring additional children, please message 🔗 hello@walkingmums.com to arrange spaces.

A pre event email will be sent in advance, at which point dietary requirements and allergies can be shared.

This event is all about bringing Mums and little ones together to meet, have fun, experience somewhere beautiful and make gorgeous memories together ❤️

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (ever growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and now Salford  who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 

We also run regular social meet ups like yoga, run club, craft nights as well as the odd personal growth events – we’re Mums supporting Mums to be the best we can be ✨

Joining fees are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, your ticket may be gifted to another person but cannot be moved or transferred to another event.
