Flower Field Picnic at Bellefields

CategoriesRegions

Description

This will be our third Picnic of the Summer at Bellefields and will mark the last of our Summer of Fun schedule 🌻

The first Flower Picnic was at the end of July as the flowers were beginning to bloom, for the next one we expect them to be full height with lots of majestic Sunflowers in full bloom! We absolutely love working with our wonderful Perk Partners 🔗 Bellefields Brew, with every event there creating gorgeous memories 💫

If you’re yet to experience Bellefields the setting is just beautiful, with a fully enclosed field meaning little ones can run free as well as a large, canopy so that if the worst comes to the worst our picnic blankets can move to the benches and we will be undercover.

For the event duration we will have exclusive use of the field (it closes to the public at 3:30pm, meaning we can explore the flowers, take beautiful photographs and enjoy flower picking if you wish – additional charges apply.

We will meet at 3pm for a 1 mile countryside walk, suitable and interesting for little walkers, before heading back to Bellefields for our exclusive picnic takeover, picnic rugs will be available but feel free to bring your own.

The Picnic will run from 3:30-4:30pm

The ticket includes one picnic box for a child, or an alternative coffee and bake for Mum/ Dad if you’re little one isn’t yet eating. Additional cakes, ice cream and drinks will be available for Mums to buy on the day. If you have additional children please message hello@walkingmums.com to arrange additional lunches.

As this is a weekend event Dads are very welcome to join, simply purchase an extra ticket.

Picnics will be pre ordered prior to the event, at which point dietary preferences and allergies can be provided. You are free to bring additional picnic food with you, please just support Bellefields by purchasing drinks, cakes, ice cream / flowers from them 🙏

This event is aimed at Mums with children of all ages from babies and little walkers / pre schoolers and older children – all will have fun playing together in the flowers ❤️, And for parents this is an opportunity to meet with other Mums and Dads for coffee and conversation whilst little people socialise and play (in a fenced off field 🥰) or together on picnic mats.

⚠️ The walk is along a quiet country lane, it is quiet but cars will occasionally pass it is advised to keep hold of children’s hands to ensure safety.

⚠️ Please keep children in sight whilst at Bellefields and away from the edges of the field where there may be hazards such as brambles and nettles, agricultural machinery, etc.

🅿️ There is Free Parking on the roadside at Bellefields, when following satnat personally I would head for Fox Covert Cemetery, Red Ln, Appleton, Warrington WA4 5LA first, then navigate to Bellefields Brew Firs Lane, Appleton, WA4 5LE from there (2 mins away) the alternate route past Walton Gardens is fine but includes more dirt track.

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (ever growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and now Salford  who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions

We also run regular social meet ups like yoga, run club, craft nights as well as the odd personal growth events – we’re Mums supporting Mums to be the best we can be ✨

We have a Supporters Membership which enables the community to thrive whilst giving members incredible perks (like 3 day David Lloyd Family passes, discounts on classes and event massages ❤️), if you’d like to get involved – see 👉 here

All you need to do to attend a walk is register and show up. We have a whatsapp group to join for last minute walk communication 👉 here

To note Walking Mums accepts responsibility for getting together a group of brilliant Mums and their little people ❤️
We don’t accept responsibility for you having a good time (although we hope you do!!! 🙏✨) or your safety see disclaimer 👉 here Please ensure yo have sight of your children at all times 🙏
