Highland Cow and Farm Animal Experience
CategoriesRegions
Description
One of the things I love most about Walking Mums is discovering hidden gem businesses that more people should know about, then working with them to create brilliant experiences for mums and little ones. And this is an absolute gem 💫
Based in Woolston, Warrington, The Haybarn Farm Shop is a small open farm packed with wonderful characters. From Meadow and Daisy the Highland Cows, to baby goats that behave more like cats, friendly alpacas, and what might just be the cutest sheep in the world, there’s so much to discover. And then there’s Jo, the farm’s incredible owner, who is the best character of them all ❤️
I genuinely can’t wait for us to visit, hear the farm’s story and spend time meeting the animals.
The highlight of the experience will be a special Highland Cow encounter, where we’ll have the chance to get up close to these gentle giants and even feed them by hand under Jo’s guidance.
As well as meeting the cows, we’ll spend time exploring the farm and getting to know the alpacas, emus, goats, chickens, pigs and Jo’s famous Valais Blacknose sheep. If you’ve never seen one before, have a quick Google… you’ll understand why we’re obsessed 🥰
Your ticket also includes a hot or cold drink and a traybake or cake for mum. The farm shop will be open too, with a fantastic selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, farm eggs, meat, ice cream and gifts.
Once you’ve visited, I’m pretty sure you’ll be telling your friends about this place. It’s exactly the kind of local business we love to champion ❤️
You’re very welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the farm meadow afterwards too. There are picnic benches available and we’re free to stay and enjoy the surroundings for as long as we’d like.
✨ Come and discover one of Warrington’s best-kept secrets with us. ✨
Arrive from 12:30pm the experience will begin at 1pm and last 45 minutes to an hour, after that there is free time to meet animals, others and enjoy time on the farm.
1 ticket admits 1 Adult and 1 Child and includes a drink and a bake / cake (from pre-defined selection)
