Introduction to Weaning with Bright Horizons

Would you love the chance to talk it through with other mums – with a bit of expert guidance?

Here’s your opportunity!

Our brilliant partners at Bright Horizons Warrington are hosting a special session designed to help you feel more confident, informed and supported as you begin (or continue) your weaning journey.

We will meet first for a Sankey Valley walk starting at 12pm and head to the session for 1:15pm (there will be time to grab a coffee before it starts should you wish).

The session will be led by Katie, the Bright Horizons, in-house Chef, who creates healthy, nutritious, age-appropriate meals for little ones every day. She’ll be joined by the experienced nursery team, who support babies through mealtimes and early food exploration.

This is your chance to learn, ask questions, share experiences and feel reassured as you navigate this exciting (and sometimes overwhelming!) stage.

This session is exclusively for Walking Mums and will be hosted by our partners David Lloyd Warrington – in a space opposite the nursery. It will be informal, relaxed and held within one of the play spaces, so little ones can play freely while mums chat and learn, with experts on hand throughout.

Perfect for parents of babies from birth up to the start of weaning, and for those curious about what they really need to know. It’s also a lovely way to get a feel for the nursery team and should you wish you can also pay a visit to the nursery.

 We will meet first for a Sankey Valley Walk – Parking Information:

🅿️  Free Parking: Sankey Valley – the Cromwell Avenue South car park (opposite David Lloyd) WA5 1HB (the entrance is slightly hidden, you are looking for a height restriction barrier) if car park is full there is also roadside parking.

12pm Walk

1pm Head to David Lloyd grab a drink / use facilities

1:15pm Session begins
