Pumpkin Picnic – Friday

As always it is Walking Mums mission to help Mums make magical moments with our little people – whilst also keeping them entertained and happy, with as much outdoor movement included as possible 🥰

Here is another event we are very excited about – our second annual Pumpkin Picnic, hosted by our wonderful Perk Partners 🔗 Bellefields Brew in Appleton.

If you’ve never been to Bellefields it’s an incredible place, a huge field in which children can run free which they theme to match the seasons, this October it is all about Pumpkins 🎃

We will have exclusive use of the field, (which will be full of Pumpkins – available for purchase) during our visit – come prepared for rain and mud and hope it’s not the case but this is October in the North of England…

There is a full shelter in the field so there’s no need for soggy picnics and children don’t care about the weather, in fact some seem to enjoy the rain and mud more than glorious sunshine!

Halloween Fancy Dress expected 🎃 👻 🧙‍♀️ and we will have the fabulous Abbi from AS Photography with us to capture precious shots with your little people 📷

We will meet at 1pm for a short countryside walk, suitable and interesting for little ones before heading back to Bellefields for our picnics.

The picnic will run from 1pm–2pm.

Your ticket includes one children’s picnic box, or alternatively a coffee and bake for Mum if your little one isn’t yet eating. Additional cakes, ice cream and drinks will be available to purchase on the day. If you’re bringing additional children, please email hello@walkingmums.com to arrange extra picnic lunches.

Picnics will be pre ordered prior to the event, at which point dietary preferences and allergies can be provided. You are free to bring additional picnic food with you, please just support Bellefields by purchasing drinks, cakes, ice cream / Pumpkins from them.

⚠️ The walk is along a quiet country lane, it is quiet but cars will occasionally pass it is advised to keep hold of children’s hands to ensure safety.

⚠️ Please keep children in sight whilst at Bellefields and away from the edges of the field where there may be hazards such as brambles and nettles, agricultural machinery, etc.

 🅿️ There is Free Parking on the roadside at Bellefields, when following satnat personally I would head for Fox Covert Cemetery, Red Ln, Appleton, Warrington WA4 5LA first, then navigate to Bellefields Brew Firs Lane, Appleton, WA4 5LE from there (2 mins away) the alternate route past Walton Gardens is fine but includes more dirt track.

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (ever growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and now Salford  who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 

We also run regular social meet ups like yoga, run club, craft nights as well as the odd personal growth events – we’re Mums supporting Mums to be the best we can be

All you need to do to attend a walk is register and show up. We have a whatsapp group to join for last minute walk communication  here 

We can’t promise sunshine  or guarantee you’ll have the best time ever (although we really hope you do! ), and each mum remains responsible for her own safety and the supervision of her children throughout the walk / event, see details of our disclaimer here Please ensure you have sight of your children at all times

Joining fees are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, your ticket may be gifted to another person but cannot be moved or transferred to another event.
