After our biggest walk ever here at the start of February, we’re doing it all again! Our amazing partners David Lloyd have again agreed to host us – in spite of the Mud we brought with us 🙏 Expect a 3 mile walk, completely Buggy friendly but with a bit of mud… With an amazing coffee stop at the end – complete with pay area for any little walkers.

Sankey Valley Park really is an absolute hidden gem, right in the centre of Warrington, a picturesque green space following the historic Sankey Canal, England’s first canal. This scenic walking trail in Warrington winds through lush meadows, mature woodlands, and wetland habitats, with swans, ducks, herons and tonnes of other wildlife – perfect for families, dog walkers, and nature lovers.

💡 Tip: The paths are flat, well-maintained, and pram-friendly, but can flood and get muddy in wet weather – so bring suitable footwear!

After the walk we will head to our brilliant partners David Lloyd Warrington for Drinks and Snacks in the Clubroom. 

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (ever growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and Salford ✨ who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 💪
