Sankey Valley Walk

Description

Expect a 3 mile walk, completely Buggy friendly walk with a gorgeous coffee stop at the end.

This walk is being led by one of our brilliant Walking Mum Volunteers Alicia – thank you Alicia!! 🙏❤️

This will be a smaller walk than normal as we’re paying a visit to one of our favourite partners 🔗Number 9, (Supporter Members receive 10% Off ❤️) where we’ll have the outside area reserved – so need to keep the numbers under control 🥰

Sankey Valley Park really is an absolute hidden gem, right in the centre of Warrington, a picturesque green space following the historic Sankey Canal, England’s first canal. This scenic walking trail in Warrington winds through lush meadows, mature woodlands, and wetland habitats, with swans, ducks, herons and tonnes of other wildlife – perfect for families, dog walkers, and nature lovers.

💡 Tip: The paths are flat, well-maintained, and pram-friendly, but can flood and get muddy in wet weather – so bring suitable footwear!

After the walk we will head to our brilliant partners David Lloyd Warrington for Drinks and Snacks in the Clubroom. 

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (ever growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and Salford ✨ who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 💪
