Walking Mums Goes to the Farm – again! 🎃

After a number of calls for a Wednesday Smithills visit we are making it happen – just in time for them having dressed the Farm for Halloween! 🎃 🍂

Expect all the usual Smithills Fun – lots of baby animal meeting, Zoo corner (complete with Meerkats, Wallabies and Porcupines), Pets Corner – where we can meet, stroke and even hold an endless selection of animals and birds and so much more…

Join Walking Mums for our third, extra special trip to Smithills Open Farm, one of the North West’s biggest and best family farms. Set in beautiful countryside and home to lots of different animals, it’s a brilliant place for little ones to explore and even better when experienced together with other Walking Mums ❤️

What’s there to do?

• Meet and feed animals including cows, goats, sheep and donkeys
• Visit Pets Corner where little ones can hold baby animals like rabbits and chicks
• Watch and learn about cows in the milking parlour
• Tractor and trailer rides around the farm (small additional charge)
• Donkey rides (small additional charge)
• Huge outdoor adventure playground
• Mini Zoo with Porcupines, Meerkats, Giant Tortoises, Wallabees and more.
• Café and picnic areas for a coffee stop and a new farm shop!

Days out like this are always more fun together, we will have our own dedicated guide to show us round the farm with exclusive sessions arranged for us to enjoy together.

Instead of turning up somewhere new on your own, you’ll arrive knowing there are lots of other mums there too all in it together ✨ chatting, exploring and enjoying the day together while little ones meet animals and run around.

We will meet at the entrance at 12:30pm and head in together, there is no limit on how long you stay – end time is just an indication.

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (ever growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and Salford ✨ who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 💪

We also run regular social meet ups like yoga, run club, craft nights as well as the odd personal growth events – we’re Mums supporting Mums to be the best we can be ⭐️
