Summer Fun – Pony Morning with Walk and Picnic

It is Walking Mums mission to fill this Summer full of magical, memory filled events which will entertain Mums, Children and Babies. We know first hand how challenging it can be to keep Children entertained throughout the holidays which is why we are building this schedule full of active, mainly outdoor events aimed at keeping everyone happy ✨

First up in the confirmed schedule is our Pony Pamper Activity Morning ✨ An exclusive Walking Mums visit to The Spirit of the Herd Pony Sanctuary, near Helsby, Frodsham. The morning will involve meeting lots of ponies, learning about them and having the opportunity to stroke and pet them, we will then spend time in the central paddock, surrounding by ponies, bubbles and space to play.

There will be biscuits and juice provided for the children and fun activities to keep them entertained.

After the session with the ponies there is the opportunity to head across the road to join The Sandstone Trail for a short but challenging 1.5 mile walk for a picnic (you will need to bring ideally with a picnic blanket) in the beautiful forest setting – complete with a magical fairy door 🙏 sunshine! The trail is doable with a good buggy and there is a longer, optional carrier and child friendly route but the plan will be to stick to buggy doable (I won’t go as far as saying it’s buggy friendly 😂).

The Pony Morning will run 10am to around 11:30am we will then head for the walk and picnic, the duration includes time in the woods.

Price includes Mum and 1 Child (please message re additional children)

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (ever growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and Salford ✨ who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 💪

We also run regular social meet ups like yoga, run club, craft nights as well as the odd personal growth events – we’re Mums supporting Mums to be the best we can be ⭐️
