Summer Fun – Pony Pamper Picnic with Spirit of the Herd

It is Walking Mums mission to fill this Summer full of magical, memory filled events which will entertain Mums, Children and Babies. We know first hand how challenging it can be to keep Children entertained throughout the holidays which is why we are building this schedule full of active, mainly outdoor events aimed at keeping everyone happy ✨

Join us for our Pony Pamper Picnic Morning ✨ An exclusive Walking Mums visit to The Spirit of the Herd Pony Sanctuary, near Helsby, Frodsham. The afternoon will involve meeting lots of ponies, learning about them and having the opportunity to stroke and pet them, we will then spend time in the central paddock, surrounding by ponies, bubbles and space to play whilst enjoying bring your own picnics.

There will be biscuits and juice provided for the children and access to tea and coffee for mums along with fun activities to keep little ones entertained.

There are plenty of under cover spaces to retreat to if the weather fails us – hopefully it won’t! 🙏

After the session with the ponies there is the opportunity to head across the road to join The Sandstone Trail for a walk there is a rugged off road / chunky wheeled pram out and back and a challenging carrier option too, it is a truly stunning forest – complete with a magical fairy door. We can figure out the route on the day, depending on who is up for what.

The Pony Pamper Picnic will run 12:30m until 2pm with the walk starting directly after, the duration time shown includes only the picnic

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (ever growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and Salford ✨ who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 💪

We also run regular social meet ups like yoga, run club, craft nights as well as the odd personal growth events – we’re Mums supporting Mums to be the best we can be ⭐️

Joining fees are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, your ticket may be gifted to another person but cannot be moved or transferred to another event.
