Summer Fun – Visit to Fentons Farm 🐑

It is Walking Mums mission to fill this Summer full of magical, memory filled events which will entertain Mums, Children and Babies. We know first hand how challenging it can be to keep Children entertained throughout the holidays which is why we are building this schedule full of active, mainly outdoor events aimed at keeping everyone happy ✨

Next up in the confirmed schedule is an exclusive visit to Fentons Farm 🐑

Fentons are opening up especially for us, for a special afternoon animals, play & memory-making.

🔗 Fentons Farm — a working family-run farm in Rostherne that’s all about keeping things simple, honest, and full of heart.

This isn’t a shiny play farm — it’s the real thing. A place where animals are loved, children are welcome, and little ones can get close to nature without the crowds or pressure. And we’d love you to join us for this special afternoon.

🐾 Animals you’ll meet include:
Donkeys 
Goats 
Sheep 
Emu
Rabbits, guinea pigs & fish
Plus a very proud peacock who may make an appearance…

🌿 There’s more than animals…
Fentons has a mix of indoor and outdoor play equipment — all donated, well-loved, and perfect for little legs who need a run around after meeting the animals.

There will be children’s picnic boxes, sandwiches and toasties (all £4.50) self serve hot drinks (no Flat Whites but they’re only £1.50) and gorgeous homemade cakes 🍰 The Fentons Farm Shop will be open but with limited stock (as they’re not usually open on a Wednesday) – for the most amazing Eggs, Meat and Farm produce.

Please ensure only food and drink purchased from Fentons is consumed on the premises.

Animal time, play time, and plenty of mum-to-mum chat

The chance to have beautiful natural photos taken with your little one
