Description

Join us for a special Walking Mums Meet featuring Jess from the Supportive Sloths Sling Library at Bents Garden & Home (The Conservatory) on 5th March.

Founded in 2009 by babywearing enthusiast Rachael, Supportive Sloths Sling Library has grown into a trusted service, offering over 200 slings, carriers, and cloth nappies for hire to families across the North West. Their goal is to help parents find the perfect fit while providing free, expert advice to ensure safe and comfortable use.

At Walking Mums, we’re passionate about the benefits of babywearing—not just for convenience, but for the many ways it supports both parent and baby. Research has shown that babywearing can:

✔ Promote attachment and bonding
✔ Reduce infant crying
✔ Encourage cognitive and social development
✔ Improve postpartum mental health
✔ Support better sleep for baby and parent

This event is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about safe and confident babywearing while connecting with other mums in a friendly, welcoming space.

🕤 Event Schedule:

9:30 AM – Meet & social time
10:00 AM – Babywearing talk with Jess
10:30 AM – Q&A + more time to connect with other mums
