The Walled Garden Picnic Party

We are so excited to launch the first of our Summer Picnic Parties! A time to come together in a beautiful place, to meet other Mums and little ones, enjoy some brilliant entertainment and celebrate Summer with our little people.

These events are designed to work for Mums with varying aged children to help fill the Summer days ❤️

We’re taking over the stunningly beautiful Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden for the afternoon – which will open exclusively for us, meaning the gates will be closed so you can relax (a little – of course please ensure you have sight of your children at all times! :))✨

The walled gardens are an absolute gem, tranquil, nature filled with kitchen gardens, orchards and restored original glass houses (meaning the event is fully weather proofed – but plan A will very much be outside).

Joining us will be some of our favourite local partners, including Rebecca from 🔗Moo Music Warrington and Gilly from Phonics with Robot Reg who will each be running 2 sessions (pre walkers / walkers) for little ones to get involved with and we will also be joined by long time friend of Walking Mums Vicky from Fitmums who will be running a taster session for mums to get involved with during the afternoon 💪

We will be hosted by the volunteer team who look after the buildings and gardens meaning we can ask questions, gain insight and become more connected with this beautiful local place.

Bring your own Picnics to enjoy around the garden, we have a stock of picnic blankets to share but please feel welcome to bring your own – we may not have enough 🙂

One ticket is valid for 1 Adult and 1 Child, includes is one iced tea / coffee and a sweet treat per adult, plus water / squash for children. Additional child tickets are available for £3, if you have additional children please message 🔗hello@walkingmums.com to arrange space.

Food and drink choice will be pre ordered prior to the event, at which point dietary preferences and allergies can be provided.

This event is aimed at Mums and little ones to come together, to meet, have fun, experience a new place and make memories!

🅿️ Lots of Free parking available on the roadside and car park.

This event will go ahead regardless of the weather, there is onsite baby change and it is pram friendly. Images of last years events ⬇️

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (ever growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and now Salford  who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 

We also run regular social meet ups like yoga, run club, craft nights as well as the odd personal growth events – we’re Mums supporting Mums to be the best we can be ✨

End time includes the walk, the brunch will end around 11:30/45am

Joining fees are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, your ticket may be gifted to another person but cannot be moved or transferred to another event.
