Transpennine Trail, Dunham – from The Rope and Anchor (great first walk ❤️)

Description

It’s been a while since we’ve been to the Rope and Anchor – thank you Walking Mum Ellie for volunteering to lead this walk! 🙏 ❤️ A 3 mile, buggy friendly, out and back route along the Trans Pennine Trail towards Altrincham, returning back to our Perk Partner 🔗The Rope and Anchor for Drinks and Snacks.

This walk is a perfect first walk option, there are benches along the route should you need to stop to feed and with it being an out and back walk you’ll get picked up on the return journey should you need to take a break 🥰

Its also great if you have a little walker as it is mostly off road along the TransPennine Trail (aside from a very short section of road side at the very beginning and end), meaning scooters, bikes, etc are all doable. You may move at a different pace to pram walkers but the out and back nature of the route means you will regroup at some point and The Rope and Anchor has a fantastic play area to reward them with at the end.

We will park in the car park of The Rope and Anchor (they have kindly agreed to let us)
