Walton Gardens to Bellefields Brew Walk – Sunday

Description

Walton Gardens and Appleton Reservoir, two of Cheshire’s most scenic destinations. This is a gorgeous walk that takes in the picturesque canal, reservoir and quiet backroads with heaps of wildlife along the way.

This walk is being lead by Walking Mums volunteer Sarah ❤️

The Meeting Place is the Bridge by the entrance to Walton Gardens

🚗 Parking Information:

🅿️ Free Car Parking – Old Chester Road, Warrington, WA4 6TG
🅿️ Walton Gardens Car Park – Walton Lea Road, Warrington, WA4 6SN (Parking charges apply)

Route

🗺️ Walton Gardens & Appleton Reservoir Walking Route Guide:

1️⃣ Start at the entrance to Walton Gardens – Walk east along Walton Lea Road.

2️⃣ Turn left onto Hough Bridge – Follow Houghs Lane as it leads towards Appleton Reservoir, a peaceful spot for wildlife and scenic views.

3️⃣ Turn left onto Pake Lane, following the curve right onto Firs Lane.

4️⃣ Stop at our Perk Partner 🔗Bellefields Brew – Take a well-earned break for a coffee and a treat.

5️⃣ Turn left out of Bellefields Brew and follow the road around to the left.

6️⃣ Continue towards the cemetery – Follow the road onto Red Lane for a scenic countryside stretch.

7️⃣ At the end of Red Lane, turn left onto Whitefield Road – Follow it as it curves onto Walton Lea Road.

8️⃣ Return to Walton Gardens – The final stretch takes you back to your starting point, completing the circular walk.
