Weekend Family Picnic at The Roastery
CategoriesRegions
Description
One of the things Walking Mums loves most is shining a light on incredible local businesses and creating extra special experiences for mums and families to come together for β€οΈ
We are so excited to welcome you to our newest brilliant find β Duda Coffee Roastery, near Arley Hall, for our very first Weekend Family Picnic β¨
Duda Roastery is set within the most idyllic surroundings, with fields, trees, ponds and even event beehives within the grounds (please keep little ones close at all times π₯°). The moment we discovered it, we knew we had to create an event here.
Founder James has an incredible story. After spending 12 years living in Brazil, he recently returned to the family farm with his Brazilian wife and daughter β Duda β€οΈ β to open the roastery, bringing exceptional Brazilian coffee to Cheshire and creating experiences for people to learn more about the coffee, its origins and the roasting process.
James will host us for the morning, serving coffees (including iced coffees), alternative hot drinks and sweet treats (a pre-order form will be sent ahead of the event). Families are welcome to bring their own picnics to enjoy together β hopefully outside in the beautiful gardens if the weather allows βοΈ or inside the roastery if not.
Yes, this really does mean picnic blankets and sitting picnic-style on the floor whether indoors or out π₯°
Your ticket includes:
β One drink
π§ One sweet treat
Additional drinks can be purchased on the day. Tickets are per adult and include one child, you can buy up to 2 tickets per family below.
Food and drink choices will be pre-ordered before the event, where dietary requirements and allergies can also be shared.
This event is all about mums, dads and little ones coming together to enjoy a truly beautiful space, connect with others, learn something new and make memories together β€οΈ
A short walk around the grounds will take place after the picnic π«
π ΏοΈ Plenty of free parking is available on site.
This event will go ahead whatever the weather. Numbers will be limited to ensure everyone can fit comfortably within the roastery if we move indoors β¨ additional spaces may be opened up closer to the date, once we are sure of a clear forecast π

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (ever growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and now Salford who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions
We also run regular social meet ups like yoga, run club, craft nights as well as the odd personal growth events β weβre Mums supporting Mums to be the best we can be β¨
We have a Supporters Membership which enables the community to thrive whilst giving members incredible perks (like 3 day David Lloyd Family passes, discounts on classes and event massages β€οΈ), if youβd like to get involved β see π here
All you need to do to attend a walk is register and show up. We have a whatsapp group to join for last minute walk communication π here
To note Walking Mums accepts responsibility for getting together a group of brilliant Mums and their little people β€οΈ
We donβt accept responsibility for you having a good time (although we hope you do!!! πβ¨) or your safety see disclaimer π here Please ensure you have sight of your children at all times π
We look forward to meeting you!
