One of the constant recurring themes of our Walking Mums WhatsApp is work. Maternity, flexible working rights, the reality of going back as a new version of you and the impact it has on your work / career. The chats are always so informative, supportive and useful but WhatsApp can only take us so far…

At Walking Mums, our goal is to bring Mums together to support one another because we believe that together, we can do so much more than we can alone. 💪 We first held an event on this topic in 2025, with two Mums taking the lead (you can see details of this event here 👉(https://www.walkingmums.com/working-mums-rights-rules-and-the-realities-of-work-live-%e2%9c%a8/) now we’re doing it again!

We’re bringing two new brilliant Mums from our community one a HR specialist – “Megan”, the other “Lisa” Finance — to host a relaxed, myth-busting morning meet-up at one of the UK’s most beautiful garden centres: Bents Garden & Home.

A relaxed, friendly session full of:

We’ll be covering topics like:

⭐️ Childcare & nursery hours
⭐️ Flexible working rights
⭐️ Plus touch on holidays, promotions, pensions and more

This is a fantastic opportunity to get clarity, ask questions, and connect with other Mums navigating the same challenges — all with babies, toddlers, and coffee in hand.

If this is your first encounter with Walking Mums, we are simply a (fast growing..!!) group of Mums from all over Cheshire, South Manchester, Merseyside and Salford ✨ who meet to walk, talk, connect and share info, ideas, problems and solutions 💪
